The 12th edition of the backup_festival 2010 will be presented between the 6th and 9th of May 2010 at the E-Werk and some special locations in Weimar. Here you will find all the necessary information regarding our festival. We will be happy to welcome you to our backup_festival 2010!
1.200 films sent from all over the world
The 12th backup_festival counts more than 1.200 films there were sent in by film artists from all over the world.
The numerous films for the backup.award and backup.clip.award have been watched and selected by the backup.team and were assembled into an exceptional program.
The opening of the festival on may 6th is coming closer. In this moment the team is working with a maximal output to enable a perfect program for the four days of the festival.
High demand from all over the world: At the request of numerous film makers the backup_festival has extended the deadline: Shortfilm makers now have the opportunity to submit their work until the 15th of March 2010.
Two months before the start of the backup_festival 2010, new submissions from all over the world arrive day by day. For the first time, backup is addressed exclusively to students and alumni from art, film and media schools.
